Hi Tomas,
I agree with this and the funny thing is I used to teach it in my training courses but as I read your post I realised that I had forgotten to apply it myself. That is the real value of reading blogs like this, it reminds you of the things you have forgotten to do.
I often wonder why I don”t get as much done in a day as I want to do but after reading this I will go back to an old technique I used to implement, I will start the day by listing the top three things I need to do and then start at number one. If I get that done I will move on to number two.
If I don”t get past number one, at least I will know that the most important job got done. Thanks for your post.
You are so right. Without goals it is like spinning your wheels in thick mud. You just don”t get anywhere and end up with mud all over the place. I look at goals setting as driving on a clean road and you get where you are going easily. Maybe a few pot holes along the way, but nothing that can”t be overcome.

Hi Tomas!
I love read lists and summaries about goal setting and goal getting processes, everyday. It”s a fantastic manner to stay focuse on my priorities in according to my daily task and weekly goals.
For succeed we have to keep on moving forward, avoiding dangerous distractions and performing the time management process in the best manner.
I have developed a personal strategy for becoming better and better productive toward the achievement of my goals and improve the quality of my results. It”s in 5 step and it”s pretty simple.
1 – write down a list of your 15-50 goals, in a specific, passionated and in a defined time frame contest..
2 – read this list before going to bed for setting your mind during the night…
3 – wake up and reading firstly your list…
4 – meditate at least 15 minutes to maximum of 40 in the morning and better if you repeat another session in the evening…
5 – work with a countdown timer for staying focused on a goal at time, increasing so your flow and your productivity.
I hope of have been able to speak in a clear and simple manner as are you doing through your style, Tomas
I want to say thank you, for inspiring me Tomas!
